I recently (re)discovered a new hobby. Journaling! I’ve always loved journaling when I was younger, but lately, I kinda forgot about it. I was so busy with school and life, I haven’t written in it for ages. But now I am back at it again.
First things first: What is journaling? Journaling is a way to express your thoughts on paper. All you need is a pen and a notebook. That’s it. Of course, you can also use in stickers, colored pencils and other things to make your journals more ✨Aesthetic✨, but that’s completely optional. There are many types of journals. You have dream journals, bullet journals, gratitude journals and so much more. You can write about anything that you want in your own journal. (Click here for journaling inspo)
My journal is a creative safe space for me. I sometimes find it very difficult to express myself to others, so I find journaling a perfect way to express myself privately. I also use it as a way to reflect on what happened that day. From time to time, I also like to draw or write poetry in my journal.
It’s sometimes difficult to find time to write. You really have to try and make time for yourself to start journaling. Who knows, this could be the perfect hobby for you!
Have you ever tried journaling?
