Winter Wonderland

It finally started to snow last night! Where I live, it’s usually dark, grey and gloomy around this time. It hasn’t snowed here in a long time, so you can imagine my excitement when I heard that it was gonna snow this weekend.

We haven’t had snow in a really long time. It used to snow here every year around the winter time, but that sadly changed and snow became pretty rare here. I remember going sledding with my family or attempting to go ice skating on the frozen water. Afterwards we would go home and drink hot chocolate with lots, and lots of whipped cream.

There is something so beautiful about that soft, white snow laying on the ground. You walk outside and you hear that crisp sound that snow makes beneath your feet. You breathe in the fresh cold air while you’re looking at the beautiful scenery that’s in front of you. Ok, maybe I’m exaggerating a little bit.

I went on a lovely walk today and I made some pictures!

Who knows how long the snow will last? Enjoy it while you still can and when you’re done, drink a nice big mug of hot cocoa!

Have you ever experienced snow?

Yours truly,
